Atelier Elpidia is a knitwear brand based in Oxford, UK, crafting with hope for a better future for all.

In honour of the founder’s Lola and late mother, Atelier Elpidia creates high quality, handcrafted knitted garments out of natural fibres for you to enjoy and love. Each item is made with knitting needles and human hands - powered by matcha, hot chocolate, and many comfort dishes.

Behind Atelier Elpidia is a history of formal architectural and spatial design study and a childhood routed in multiple creative pursuits, many of which were encouraged heavily by the owner's parents. Sometimes the pursuits were learnt alongside her parents through books sourced at the local library or kind neighbours.

What you see at Atelier Elpidia is a result of the founder’s love of art, music, anime/manga, fashion, and design. Many of the garments will also draw inspiration from her mother’s wardrobe during the 1960s through to the early 2000s, and her personal fashion pinterest boards she has had since before 2013.
